The sun is shining, the mornings and evenings are bright, and it's finally getting warmer. We really wanted our summer shoot to feel like we were away somewhere in the Mediterranean, so we've waited until the weather was just right, which is always such a coin toss here in England (last year's summer shoot was freezing!). Luckily for us, we got the timing just right. Down in London, we had glorious blue skies and surprisingly warm temperatures - it seems spring finally sprung, just in time for our shoot!

 

We found our location via Lordship Park. Judging from the interior of the house and the lush communal garden space, you'd assume we were out in the country somewhere, not a short taxi ride away from Marylebone station! We'd never expect to find somewhere like this in central London, we love finding all these hidden treasures.

Our new collection is a big one! We've had so much fun designing these pieces, and we hope it shows through them. There's an emphasis on playful motifs and bright colours. There's almost 30 pairs of earrings, plenty of new charm additions, new necklaces (including new charm necklaces!), bracelets and rings that we are so excited to share with you.

Finding clothes for this shoot was really fun because of everything being bright, colourful and summery. We had our good friend Sally from Mor Style helping us with the garments, and Jessica Wells on makeup. As always, we wanted fresh-faced and clean looking (this time with a subtle gold liner for summery festival vibes) and slowly adding more colour and contrast as the day went on.

We wanted our model to have shorter hair, as we felt it would help showcase the jewellery more. We felt incredibly lucky to come across Barbara Maldonado, who not only had a very chic shaggy bob, but was also very bubbly and lovely to work with.

As we were so fortunate with the weather and you can never be too sure when the clouds will appear in England, we spent the first half of our shoot out in the garden area. There were so many good photo ops, including hanging wisteria, bluebell patches, a juvenile olive tree and a swing.

Michelle Beatty and the Nice Productions team were able to utilise these spots, working their magic as they always do for us to create photos and videos that all feel connected to each other yet uniquely different, each one standing out and having its own character, as well as capturing the specialness of each piece of jewellery.

After lunch, we moved inside, utilising the beautiful styling of the house. With rustic pastel shabby chic interiors, we felt we were whisked away into a beautiful country cottage somewhere. Michelle and her team created incredible contrast lighting, replicating summer sunsets, and were able to use the space in creative ways.
